Liminality: The Space Between. A new book by Danny Gray

Liminality: The Space Between

There is a point between what was and what comes next.

A place of uncertainty, transition and possibility.

That place is Liminality.

The forthcoming collection by Danny Gray is the second volume in a trilogy that traces a journey from the inward gaze of Inside Out, through the uncertain territory of Liminality, towards the wider perspective of Continuum.

But Liminality is not simply a bridge between two books. It is a collection in its own right.

It explores the uncomfortable spaces between certainty and doubt, conformity and rebellion, identity and expectation. It asks questions without necessarily providing answers and examines the contradictions, absurdities and uncomfortable truths that shape our experience of being human.

As with Gray's other work, the collection refuses to settle comfortably into one particular style or mood. Philosophy sits alongside humour. Social observation meets personal reflection. Serious questions can be followed by irreverence, absurdity or a deliberately sharp turn of phrase.

That contrast is part of the journey.

Liminality is about being somewhere between.

Between who we were and who we might become.

Between what we believe and what we question.

Between the world we inherit and the world we choose to challenge.

The collection continues Gray's distinctive exploration of consciousness, identity, society and the everyday absurdities of modern life, delivered through an unapologetically individual voice.

And ultimately, Liminality is about movement.

Inside Out looked inward.

Liminality occupies the space between.

Continuum will take the journey onwards.
